Open Source DICOM Viewer released

Today was released the new stable version of this viewer written in
Turbo Delphi, partially based on ezDicom sources.
It doesn't aim to be used for clinical purposes, but it could be a
practical tool.

Features:
- No needs of installation or libraries (works from CD).
- Command-line parameters combined to ini file can drive the default
startup behaviour of the viewer.
- DICOMDIR management.
- Basic image management (windowing, rotation, etc).
- Navigation bar with series icons.
- Multilingual.
- Interface restyled following IHE BIR recommendations.

it seems to be windows-only. Any chance that could be ported to other OS?

Yes, it is Windows only because of the diffusion of this OS (the initial
need was for a patient CD viewer), but the code uses mainly VCL objects,
so theoretically is possible the porting to Linux using Kylix
(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kylix_%28software%29).
At present I'm not in contact with Kylix developers, sorry.
Perhaps you can try by yourself to port the project to Linux.

My best regards,
