I'm sorry to say that there is no simple solution for your problem. Generally, simulating such inside faults requires re-calculation of the machine parameters.

But i'm trouble with switching operation of IGBT gate. In this case i'm using PWM not SVPWM likes in simulink demo. **Simulation simulation?**Hello all,
I am looking for a good software to simulate a software.
For training purposes we would like to simulate an ERP software.
That means we would like to take screen shots of the software we want to teach
and then simulate the processes which are done with the real data and only show
the results to the trainee. Of cause that can be done with p*werpoint, but we
would like to have different paths, choosen by selections made on the screens.

I believe the difference is that you can drive an AC brushless motor
directly from an AC line - 50 or 60 Hz. I am not sure this is the same as a
synchonous motor or not. Perhaps you should quote the motors or source of
your information.
A DC brushless motor one needs a controller to 1) sense the position of the
the stator and 2) change the current flow in the coils in order to generate
the next phase of rotation. These are more ty...

I am new to LabView (just got LV 7 eval, went to a seminar)...so here
goes...
I would like to use LabView to model servo controllers. And one of the first
things I need is a computer (LabView) model of a dc (toque) motor.
For example the .vi would have volts (or amps) in and output position and
torque info about the motor shaft. i.e. 1 amp in yields some value of torque
acting on the inertial load of the motor, and moves the shaft 30 degrees.
Put another way, how do I write the motor equations and get a result? Would
this be writing a .vi that I then could use in say a PID .vi simulat...

**Wiring Up an AC Motor**I've recently acquired an 1/8 hp AC Motor which I'm trying to hook
up to see if it is any good.
The motor is a Dayton Model 3M292 Permanent Split Capacitor (PSC) motor.
I know it works off of 110 VAC single phase and will pull 1.8 Amps (according
to the specs). Unfortunately, I can't find any hookup schematics
(it came with no manual of course).
The motor has a large capacitor (I presume) which has two wires running
into the case of the motor. From the case of the motor there are
four wires to be connected to whatever is driving the motor. They are

things they're quite proud of is the builtin three-phase motor
controller.
I was just wondering if this has any application in robotics. Are there
three phase motors that don't run on 480Vac? :)

**Multi-phase Motor Controller?**A new large-diameter, permanent magnet motor line is currently under design
for very low speed (2 rad/sec), high-precision (10 urad) applications. For a
3-phase motor, torque ripple is ~7%, with ripple inversely proportional to
the number of phases.
An attractive alternative to the standard 3-phase controller is an FPGA
multi-phase controller where each stator coil is individually controlled.
For the preliminary design, somewhere in the range of 30 stator coils will
be utilized.
