Since you're using OCI's version of TAO I recommend sending your
questions to taosupport@ociweb.com since they provide excellent
commercial support for their releases of TAO. Naturally, we encourage
and appreciate other members of the ACE+TAO user community who can
respond to questions about the OCI release if they have the answers.

Thanks,

        Doug

Hi Gregor,

> =A0 =A0SYNOPSIS:
> Hello, i have problem compiling the IFR_Service in a cross compilation,
> specifically compiling tao_ifr

I just enabled building the IFR_Service by default on cross-build
platforms. We'll see how testing goes, but if everything goes well it
will be part of the next DOC release of ACE/TAO/CIAO (which I believe
is due early February).

I recommend that you check out http://www.dre.vanderbilt.edu/scoreboard/ for a list of G++ compilers and OS platforms we use to compile ACE with continuously and make sure you're using one like we're using. If you ARE using a G++ compiler that we're using and you still have problems, then take a careful look at your environment since this stuff works fine for us!
