```sol = NDSolve[{
y'[t] == y[t] (x[t] - 1),
x'[t] == x[t] (2 - y[t]),
x[0] == 1, y[0] == 2.7},
{x, y}, {t, 0, 10}];
plt = ParametricPlot[{x[t], y[t]} /. sol, {t, 0, 10}]
points = Cases[plt, Line[pts_] :> pts, Infinity][[1]];
Export["plotPts.xls", points];
Hi Alan, I have tried to install Savicells from your site (after installing .Net). Not sure what to do after that. Documentation isn't clear. Can you please help me. Exporting into csv or other formats helps in converting everything to text (which retains the actual values) but excel behaves in weird way after that like functions doesnt work properly. So either way it increases my work. Cherish Alan Churchill <savian001@GMAIL.COM> wrote: Gerhard, Is there something wrong with exporting direct to Excel? Excel 2007 is a massive overhaul of Excel. For anyone who can afford it (or convince IT), seriously consider upgrading to this new version. It is well worth every penny. Not only are the limits removed but the graphics are stunning, significant BI capability, smaller file sizes, and on and on. excel exporter
Hi all, i have several php files which each run a different SELECT query and displays the data in a table. I would like to create an option to export the table to excel and one route i would like to go down is creating a single export.php file with an excel header; and basically it would read the sql query stored in a session; and just create a spreadsheet from the results. the problem is each query yields a different number of columns, so what php code would tell it to select all fields for every row rather than specifying each field one by one? I hope this makes sense to you. Kind regards...
Exporting to Excel
I have a script step to export found records to Excel. I added some fileds to the layout and was puzzled why they were not being exported. Eventually I worked out that I needed to "specify" the sort order in the script step. This allowed me to add the extra fields to the list of exported fields. Is there a way to add extra text to a cell in the newly created spreadsheet? I simply want to add a key at the bottom of the spreadsheet and would like to automate this step. Michael Paine I've long argued that FileMaker should let you "print" a layout to a text file, ...
