3d images coordinates

hi!!

I trying to work with 3d images, and I need to calculate the physical
coordinates of a point (I know its position on the images and of
course, the camera parameters). what can I do?? how can I calculate
the global coordinates of a pixel??

please help me!!!

Dear Radira,
One can only help if you can provide some clear information

Try to answer the following

How do you import the data in Matlab ?

Is it slices of images stacked or simply co-ordinates of points ?

What do you mean when you have the co-ordinate points are they
relative to a cartesian co-ordinate system.

Extract plane from a image
Hi, can anyone help me with this how can i extract the rgb plane from an image. I need extract the red, green and blue plane from an image and show them in a vi.I have a vi that extract the turn into the grayscale from a color image. Int&Pic.vi: http://forums.ni.com/attachments/ni/170/331801/1/Int&Pic.vi On the graphics palette is a color to RGB VI.  Take your 1-D array of image data, autoindex it into a for loop.  Wire out the R, G, B values through an AutoIndex tunnel.  Now you will have a 1-D array for each of those colors of the image data. What 3D engines are MP aware?
What game engines are multi-processor aware? I'm about to get my first new (to me at least) Mac in a while, and I'm looking at a used Dual 1.2 GHZ or 867 MHz machine. IIRC, the Quake 3 engine is multi-threaded, is the Unreal engine? Is there a list of other games built on these engines? Using 3d functions
Hello all. I am pretty new to Matlab and having a bit of trouble. I am trying to add many 3d functions together and then plot the sum. I have been playing around with 'meshgrid', but it doesn't seem to work in this case. The problem is that I have, say, 30 functions of x,y...for example... a=x+y b=x^2+y^3 : z= e^y*y^2 sum = a+b+c...+z Each function (a...z) needs to be evaluated over a different interval. The 'x' and 'y' range for each function is different. After each function is evaluated over its specific range, I want to add these equations and plot the r...

best way to save 3D plot as .eps for latex document?
I have to put a 3D Mathematica plot in a latex document so I save the plot by right clicking it and saving as .eps. The problem is that if I save as vector graphics the file is 14MB, if I save as BMP inside the eps, the file is 2MB still too big and it takes too much time each time I'm recompiling the file. Is there a way to efficiently save the plot as .eps so that 1. the file is small 2. quality is still acceptable 3. recompiling the latex is fast What are the necessery steps/settings that work best for that? summer wrote: > I have to put a 3D Mathematica plot in a la...

Hello all, I've been considering using LaTeX to lay out some public domain text (icelandic sagas, mostly), and I thought it'd be neat to put a decorative border around the pages, perhaps a celtic-looking pattern or even a picture. Grid does not transfer to other open images
Hey, I'm wondering if anyone can answer this question for me. I am using PSP7, and any time I change the grid properties to that of a specific line color and vert/horz spacing, it will only apply to the image I am currently working on. This same specific grid wont transfer to any other images I have open in my workspace, and I have to configure new grid properties for each image. Is there a way to force the grid to maintain the properties I have chosen and use them for all images that I have open?? Thanks for any info anyone can offer, ST -- not my personal email account! how to plot multiple data sets in 3D?
I want to plot both a cloud of data points and the surface created by the best-fit equation I already calculated from the data to make sure they fit. I can plot either the plane using the mesh command, or the cloud of points using the plot3 command. However, whatever I graph second just replaces the first. I tried using "hold on" but that simply resulted in matlab squashing everything into a 2D plot. I am using the student version. Is this just a student version problem? Perhaps something like: a = get(gca,'DataAspectRatio'); a(2) = a(1); % Or a(1)=a(2) set(gca,'DataAspectRatio',a) Is this doing what you want? Thanks for your reply. JPEG2000: how to decode part region of a JPEG2000 image
Hi All I am a newbie. I am currently trying to implement a application which can decode and display part region of a JPEG2000 image. I find JPIP provides some guides. Based on JPIP, I can calculated and find out the tiles/precincts which are required to reconstruct the requested region (view-window). But I don't know how to reconstruct the region after I identify the required tiles/precincts in codestream. 1. If I create a new codestream by concatenating only the required tiles/precincts after main header and corresponding tile-part header, is such a new codestream compatible with JPEG 200...
