Anyone have a VPN working with 2009b?
See bug report http://www.mathworks.com/support/bugreports/582876
This is stopping me from working.
I'm wondering if any newsreader readers have been successful in using a VPN with 2009b. If you are, what VPN client do you use? OS? etc..
If Mathworks isn't helpful in fixing this (appears in 2010a, so it looks like they have no plans to fix it), maybe the users have a solution!

No other solution here but to use 2009a.
2010a prerelease was slightly better (starting vpn didn't kill matlab if it was already running) but the final release is again the same as 2009b.
Two practically useless releases, sad.
Using Vista and Win7, both 64-bit.

I'm using 2009b because it came pre-installed on my laptop on loan from my university.
Is there a way to downgrade to 2009a? (simple)
Or do I have to request a new version to be installed from the uni IT? (complicated)
