You almost certainly have too many files open at once. You should close
files after using them. You can see what files you have open using

fIDs = fopen('all')

and you can work out which file each ID corresponds to by using

filename = fopen(fileID)

"Message Exchange" and "File Format"
Message Exchange dicom file (online networking) have a dicom upper layer, and File Format dicom files (for media storage interchange offline) don't. Is there a way of converting on to another? Do I understand this right, are there two type of dicom files? For example Matlab will only accept File Format files. Thanks. Short file format: "Progra~1" for "Program Files"
Hello all, From my Windows command prompt, I'm trying to run an .exe which requires an argument for CLASSPATH, along the lines, <%> Foo.exe -CLASSPATH="C:\Program Files\AppFolder\a.jar....." When the length of CLASSPATH's value is quite large, the .exe doesnt work the way it should. To truncate the CLASSPATH length I tried "C:\Progra~1" for "C:\Program Files". It seems to work fine. This exe needs to run on the end-user's PC. My question is, how reliable is it to use "Progra~1" for "Program Files". If the end...
