Looks like you don't have mbuild, either in your path or in your Matlab installation. Probably the former, since mcc does work.

Problem creating animation output file from Matlab m-file
I have a Matlab m-file that reads in my data and successfully displays to the screen an animation of the data. Now, I’m attempting to generate an animation *output file*, so that I can replay this animation in a portable (e.g. .gif ) format on other non-Matlab PCs. At present, the code that I show below *does* generate an “animation” output file (of several MB in size, where one component frame is several kB). However, the problem seems to be that the output “animation” file just contains hundreds of the same frame (which is the final frame of the entire animation), rather than the correct, individual animation frames. I’ve attempted to follow the example code shown in this Matlab Solutions link: How can I create animated GIF images in Matlab? http://www.mathworks.com/support/solutions/en/data/1-48KECO/?solution=1-48KECO and here is a simplification of my code (I omitted much of my correctly-working animation code, and included the full new animation-file-generating code): ------------------------------------------------------- filename = 'myAnimation.gif'; for i=1:Endval % calculate and plot animation to screen % ... set(plot(x,y,'b',x,y,'bo', xtarget, ytarget, 'rx'),'LineWidth',3); drawnow; % new animation-file-generating code frame = getframe(1); im = frame2im(frame); [imind,cm] = rgb2ind(im,256); imwrite(imind,cm,filename,'gif','WriteMode&...

Creating mex file from m file
Hello friends, I am looking to accelerate my m code by using mex files. I am using Linux 64 bit machine. In my code there is a function call to an ODE function and MATLAB profiler shows that it takes a long time to execute that section of the code. so I have written a function (m file) which supplies required inputs to the ODE function and retrieves output . [output1,output2,....]=adsorption_ODE(input1, input 2,.......) ; adsorption_ODE.m contains the required ode45 command and the operations involved. Now, I was wondering if its possible to convert 'adsorption_ODE.m' in C code and then convert this C file to matlab executable using mex command and accelerate the whole program. I am not at all good at c coding. Please let me know if this approach is correct . Can someone guide me to create an error free c code which could then be converted to .mexa64 file without spending lot of time in C programing. I appreciate very bit of help.Thanks.. Dear Sir, I'm compiling some m files to become a standalone exe file, but i faced some problems, appreciate if you could advice. I use >> mcc -m abc.m to do the compilation (abc is my filename). The compilation is successful, with an error log. The compilation results in a few files such as: abc.exe, abc_main.c, abc_mcc_component_data.c, abc.ctf, and mccExcludedFiles.log. The reason for this is that these toolboxes have overloaded some methods that are called by your code. If you know which toolboxes are being used by your code, you can use the -p flag with the -N flag to list these toolboxes explicitly. This will cause MATLAB Compiler to only look for functions in the specified toolbox directories in addition to the MATLAB directories. Refer to the MCC documentation for more information on this. how to convert .p files into .m files
Hi All, Can any one help me how to convert .p files into .m files. Thanks In Advance for u help. Murali. "Murali Mohan" <murali.sku@gmail.com> wrote in message <fsqkk8$5b2$1@fred.mathworks.com>... > Hi All, > Can any one help me how to convert .p files into .m files. > > > Thanks In Advance for u help. > Murali. There has been quite a lot of forum activity on this subject lately. As far as I can tell what you want to do is (with perhaps the exception of the MathWorks)impossible. P Code was designed to enable Matlab to run an encrypted file, so that source code could be distributed, without endangering the protection of the authors intellectual property. It would be a complete waste of time if you could write to the Forum and say can you decrypt this code, so I can see what the original author wants to protect and get an answer. Regards Dave Robinson Murali, is it possible you have a P-file that won't work for some reason? If so, a little more background might be helpful in leading you to some solution. No, pcode() just pre-parses code, it doesn't encrypt it. But wi...

Call Matlab m-file from Matlab Scrip Node
My problem with matlab script node is related to calling function in matlab. I created an m-file function that takes an imput temperature (from DAQ) and defines a material property. My matlab script node doesn't seem to recognize my function. I have placed the function in the folder the vi is currently located, but it doesn't read it. How do I get matlab script node to read the functions I create in matlab? Add the directory to matlab path, or call the .m file with it full name ( D:\..... \myfile.m) Let me clarify, I have pasted my matlab code into the matlab scrip node. In this code, I have called a subfunction that I have created. Example k(n)=k_c(T(n)) where k_c is a subfunction I have created. How do I get my code in the node to sucessfully read the subfunction k_c? As indicated, you need to add the directory where the .m file containing the function resides to the list of paths that are read in. This is your startup.m file. The other option is to do a "cd" command prior to calling your function to change to the directory where the .m file containing the function resides. Thanks for reiterating the information. My matlab script node is working properly. I had never used the "cd" command in matlab. I always set the working directory when I open the program, and put all the m files into t...

ini file automatically done by a exe file
I use Labview 8.2. If I launch a .exe application, a .ini file is automacally created (using the same name as the application). What is the function of this file? Is It possible that Labview doesn't created this file (this file disturbs my customer)? regards, Daniel. Ooops. Sorry about the single star rating. I had a bunch of windows open, and when I clicked on the Internet explorer window to make it active, the click happened on the spot where the ratings were.
