When you've done that, would you mind passing the results on to the transit 
company in my city? The automatic stop announcements on the bus here keep 
pronouncing "Corydon" as core-ee-den rather than the proper coar-i-dun ('coar' 
as in 'coarse', 'i' as in 'it', 'dun' as in the colour with pronunciation 
fairly similar to 'done'). And 'Portage' the announcements sometimes pronounce 
as pour-tawj (awe), and sometimes as pour-tahj (ah), but never as the proper 
"pour-tidge" (rhymes with "midge"). Though of course if you have crossed the 
river into the French portion of the city, pour-tawj is the correct 
pronounciation, and if you are in an inter-city bus towards the next city 
over, the next city over is pour-tahj, all with the same spelling, so your 
algorithm will of course include a GPS to figure out which local rules to use 
for pronunciation...
