After I display an image using imshow, I zoom the image using the magnifying tools at the top of the figure. When I zoom into the image, the image will zoom but is clipped to the initial width from the imshow autofit.

How can I zoom into the image and have the actual width of the figure increase so I can still see the entire width of the image unclipped, only bigger?
