mbuild not recognizing Visual C++ 2010

  • Follow

Dear All,

I am running MATLAB R2010a 64 bit edition on a Windows 7 64 bit machine. I have MS Visual C++ 2010. I went through the forum and installed MS SDK too. Also I am aware that MATLAB-64 bit does not have lcc compiler.
But still matlab is unable to recognize VC2010 (mbuild -setup shows zero compilers installed).
Now what is the solution and how to go ahead? I am really not inclined in uninstalling 64-bit version and reinstalling 32-bit version of MATLAB.
Thank you in advance and looking forward to some help quickly..

Cheers
Raghu

Matlab R2010b is the first to support VS 2010 in the Matlab Compiler.

See

http://www.mathworks.com/support/compilers/R2010a/win64.html

for a list of compilers for R2010a. Note that VS 2010 is not supported. See

http://www.mathworks.com/support/compilers/R2010b/win64.html

for a list of compilers ro R2010b. VS 2010 is supported.
