HI..
I want to model (Transmitter , channel and receiver) of optical OFDM in Matlab , can any body help me
Does matlab have features (support) to model Transmitter , channel and receiver of optical OFDM.

Waiting for your reply.

OFDM model
Hi, i am learning about OFDM currently. And i am learning to implement the model in SIMULINK. Yet, i am stuck at the 'training symbols'. I dont really understand why training is needed in channel estimation and what forms those training symbols. Can recommend some nice books for OFDM or simulink? Thanks for ur patience. I need matlab ofdm model for research? it would be very helpful if someone can send it to me. Hi Yariv, Check out this model: <http://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/fileexchange/loadFile.do?objectId=3540&objectType=file> Its a WLAN model, but it uses the OFDM model. Hope this helps. TEQ for optical ofdm
I have recently started working on this project titled "time domain equalizer for optical ofdm" and I need to do some simulations in this area.. can any one hlep me with codes to start with , at least similar codes of time domain equalizers Some specialists argue that <a href="http://bestfinance-blog.com/topics/credit-loans">credit loans</a> aid a lot of people to live the way they want, just because they can feel free to buy necessary stuff. Furthermore, a lot of banks present car loan for all people. Hi there, how far have you been in this equalization, ...

Hi guys I've got my OFDM system up and running in MATLAB. Now I want t parameterize it in terms of BW and T_s etc. I want to use the WLAN channe model but I don't know how many tabs the channel length should be and wha the gains are. Can anyone help on this? thanks >Hi guys >I've got my OFDM system up and running in MATLAB. OFDM and channel modeling
Hi All. I have never worked on OFDM but still I have a doubt. I know how to model time varying frequency selective channel for single carrier system in *time domain*. I am pretty sure that exactly the same way you can model the time varying frequency selective channel for OFDM. But is it something like you can model the time varying frequency selective channel for OFDM in *frequency domain* itself? And if it is possible, then which would be the best way to model time varying frequency selective channel for OFDM, time domain or frequency domain? Thanks Best Regards, Chintan I can gues...

Optical model recognition?
Is there such a thing? I.e. to draw models on a tablet, scan from papers or so, and have the graphics turned to XMI. Class diagrams would be a nice start. Responding to Karl.wettin... > Is there such a thing? I.e. to draw models on a tablet, scan from > papers or so, and have the graphics turned to XMI. Class diagrams would > be a nice start. AFAIK, no. The problem is the market. Why would one need such a tool? The UML repositories always come with a drawing tool, so why not draw it in directly? The round-trip and translation tool vendors actually have the most plausible n...

optic flow sensor model
Hello everyone, My research so far in using optic flow for aerial robot navigation has been mainly experimental (see http://www.pages.drexel.edu/~weg22/research.html if interested). However, I want to get more involved in the theoretical aspects of it by creating an optic flow sensor numerical model. When the same input is fed into my model and a sensor (www.centeye.com for example), the output should be the same. I have never developed any numerical models before and I was just wondering if anyone out there could offer some advice or suggestions on where to begin? Also, I would...

RE: OFDM MATLAB Model
Hi, I am working on an OFDM MATLAB model (using Simulink)but I am having problems with 2 issues. 1. How can I find the delay in my model between the transmitter and the receiver output? Is there a function Matlab that can assist me evaluate this delay? 2. How can I implement rate 2/3 and rate 3/4 codes using a rate 1/2 mother code on a convolutional encoder? I will appreciate anyone who can give me some quick tips on this. Rds,Kama. ...

Modeling OFDM multipath channel in Matlab
Dear all, I have a basic question regarding modeling of a multipath channel for OFD in Matlab and would appreciate your help. My intention is to simulate an 802.11a transmission which uses OFDM. Fro the 802.11a standard I know that: -Number of Subcarriers, Nsc = 64 -Sampling Rate at the receiver, fs = 20e6 samples/sec -BW = 20Mhz -Carrier Frequency, fc = 5.25 Ghz Now consider that I have the following channel impulse response: -taps_delay = [0 10ns 20ns 30ns] -taps_amp = [0.5 0.2 0.01 0.002] What I want to do is to find out the channel frequency response in eac 802.11a OFDM subcarrier. Temperature and pressure model of optical spectra
Hello, I'm working on a project to autocalibrate my optical spectra based on temperature and pressure. I have a full designed experiment dataset for temp and press on my system and can generate PLS regression models from these spectra. I have even been able to generate PLS2 prediction models for these data that show me how close my data fit my model. However what I would really like is to generate a calibration for any spectrum as long as I know the temperature and pressure. I'm not sure how to go about doing this, it seems as if I want a function of temp and press that g...
