I want to model (Transmitter , channel and receiver) of optical OFDM in Matlab , can any body help me
Does matlab have features (support) to model Transmitter , channel and receiver of optical OFDM.

Matlab does not have those kinds of features, at least not in the base
package. I do not know if it has any...

**OFDM model**Hi, i am learning about OFDM currently. And i am learning to implement
the model in SIMULINK.
Yet, i am stuck at the 'training symbols'. I dont really understand
why training is needed in channel estimation and what forms those
training symbols.
Can recommend some nice books for OFDM or simulink?

As far as I know, both are. Ain't the other American english and the
other British english? Similar issues: vertexes/vertices,
indexes/indices, color/colour.

For vertex, vertices must be the plural for instead of vertexes.

**OFDM and channel modeling**Hi All.
I have never worked on OFDM but still I have a doubt.
I know how to model time varying frequency selective channel for single
carrier system in *time domain*. I am pretty sure that exactly the same way
you can model the time varying frequency selective channel for OFDM.
But is it something like you can model the time varying frequency
selective channel for OFDM in *frequency domain* itself?
And if it is possible, then which would be the best way to model time
varying frequency selective channel for OFDM, time domain or frequency
domain?
