Hi,

I've recently installed Matlab 7 R14 (without SP1) on my Compaq
Presario WinXP. When I start Matlab, the prompt appears briefly and
then the program shuts down without an error message. Haing read
many existing posts, it seems the problem may be due to OpenGL and my
NVidia GeForce 4 card. I have tried the following solutions but
without any success:
- updated video drivers
- closed matlab web server
- switched off video acceleration
- launched with -nojvm option
- renamed glren.dll and .csf files
Unfortunately none of these solve the problem. Does anyone one have
any other suggestions?
