### Projection of 3D points to 2D

```Hi,
I have an image which is sperically projected. I need to transform it to central perspective image, so that it looks like image taken from normal pin hole camera.

-Question can be solved as follows:
- To get a  function which takes (interior orientation and exterior orientation of pinhole camera as input and transform input image to central perspective image)
All is to do to make virtuel image using collinraity equation with given input points and orienation parameters.

Obtaining 3d coordinates of a point from its 2d image
The aim of my project is to fire a beam of laser onto a target which is supposedly a black circular cardboard(10 cm diameter) placed on a white wall of 2m x 2m at a distance of 1m from the laser. The target can be placed at any random position on the wall and laser must automatically orient itself so as to be inline with it. Both the target and the wall are assumed to be stationary. 3D points representing cubes to 3D surface?
Hi there, I have a Nx3 matrix where each row has x,y,z coordinates of points. The points come from a 3D map and were generating by reading obstacle positions via a laser sensor, which were then approximated to the nearest cube center in a 3D cubic grid. This gives me the coordinates of the center of occupied cubes. How can I transform these points into cubes that can be visualized in 3D? Creating a 3D image from the 3D data points
I have a dataset of 3D "grayscale" images (medical ultrasound dataset) in the form of cartesian coordinates of each voxel and according grayscale intesity values. Hi, I'm aiming to import a point cloud produced by my aerodynamics code in Matlab. I've put the coordinate file at http://personalpages.manchester.ac.uk/student/adam.chapman/blade_points.SLDPRT I have downloaded the macro at http://solidworks.cad.de/mm_24.htm . 3D Point Cloud
I have a data file of 3D points. What is the fastest way of importing that information into solidworks to produce a surface thru them or at least influenced by them us the "shape feature" feature. Gary You can create quasi-parallel splines using the points as and then loft the splines together to make a surface. If it is a more complicated cloud, you can divide it up into logical areas and then surface each area. You can then extend and trim the surfaces as needed. Moving a 3D Point
Hi. I'm working on a 3D modeling application. I've succesfully implemented loading, picking, arcball rotation, etc. I'm currently working on mesh editing features. I've started out with the basic moving of a selected vertex. However, I've been running into some problems. Using glUnProject, I've been able to move it in XY space fine when I am viewing the object head-on. But if I arc-rotate the view, I can see that the Z-coordinate is always set to 1 even though I am getting the depth of the vertex from the depth buffer. Hello UG: I stumbled across another method [applicable with V6] with apparently less overhead compared to the earlier provided solution. This is: g3D = Plot3D[Sin[x*y], {x, 0, Pi}, {y, 0, Pi}] g2D = GraphicsGrid[{List@g3D}] g2D // Head This method seems to leave the front-end confused. It still gives the rotate cursor and indeed lets you rotate the graphic, but it apparently cannot be resized.
