Modeling sampling frequency offset in Simulink
I have a problem where I am simulating multiple nodes communicating
with one another over a bus. I would like to add a sampling clock
error of +/- N ppm to the signals but am not sure how to implement this
in simulink for a model that is running sample by sample instead of
Using a variable fractional delay with a ramp input seems to work for
positive ppm, but does not seem to be the right solution.
Any help would be appreciated.
I need to show a demonstration of JPEG in simulink. I could capture images from a webcam and display it in simulink but i need to extract image datas pixel by pixel to the DCT block?
How do I do it? Is there any tutorial for real time image processing using Simulink?

I know that I must take the derivative of y, integrate to generate x . So everything is delayed tau seconds I think I must use the transport delay block.
But how do I arrange the blocks so that it all works? And how do i do x^10 in Simulink?

Hi, Im new to simulink and I need some help.
I need to simulate a system where part of it is only active

Im using variable step size, so I need some kind of counter
that counts in simulation time, not iterations.

y = y + 1;

...Flexibility of naming Simulink files when building for xPC Target?
I have a number of different Simulink model files (.mdl) that will be built/compiled for use with xPC Target. Due to certain circumstances, these files need to be built on a system other than my own, and will be done in a single batch. I’m wondering how flexible the allowed Simulink/xPC Target naming conventions are… for example, if I have 3 models that each currently have the name Simulink_model.mdl (each being taken from different working directories), can I perform the following operations:

Hi all ya!
I have a question regarding a simulink model that i've
built ( using data store blocks). The inputs are
specified by from workspace blocks. My model reproduce
correctly some acquired values but they are time
delayed. The simulation starts a few milliseconds after the
acquired data. Is it due to the fact that I got data store
block? i triggered the system with a correct pulse ( i
think) but i still got the delay? Do you have any idea?

When transferring simulink models from Matlab 2007b to 2012b I have realized the models are much slower to navigate. When clicking a block it sometimes takes ~1 second for the block to open. Having quite large models this leads to lots of extra time clicking through the different blocks. This was never a problem in 2007b.
Have you experienced something similar? Is there a way to get around this problem?
Thanks you for your message, I am sorry that you are having issues using R2012b with your large Simulink models.

I have a model made in simulink and the only thing that is missing is
the channel part. I have the channel in a matlab file and it displays
the transfer function of that channel, but I need it in a simulink

the discrete filter block but how do I make the block call the m-file

I have two blocks (S functions)in Simulink where sample time is
inherited in both.

The output (B) of the 1st is the input of the 2nd.
The output's (C) dimension of the 2nd depends of it's input's (B)
value: sizes.NumOutputs = 2*(length(B)+3);
When simulating, it says that the output of the 2nd block must be of
length 6, as if it considers that length(B)=0.
I want please to know how can i delay the calculation of the 2nd

I am working on a project that needs Matlab programming into a robot. I was thinking of using Matlab and Simulink. Is there a way I can program in such a way that the robot will get the program from Matlab and then the program will go to Simulink, finish the program there and come back to Matlab and continue the program in Matlab?
How do I do that?

I have coupled GT-power model to simulink.I am sensing different variables in GT-power
