Using Matlab to access tables build with Datastream AFO for Excel

Hi,

does anyone have a problem when accessing Datastream tables on Excel
files (built with the Datastream AFO plug in for Excel) using Matlab
(xlsread command). When I try to access large tables on multiple Excel
Sheets, very often Excel crashes and I get an error of runtime 32809.
I am running Excel 2007 on a Windows XP machine.
