SAS and Windows 7
Hi,
does anyone knows if either SAS 9.1.3 or SAS 9.2 support Windows 7 ?
The 9.1.3 setup enters an endless loop checking for system
requirements (e.g. Java private machine)
For SAS 9.2 I'm just asking because I'm just waiting for the new license.
Thanks in advance.

Running SAS 9.2 on Windows 7, 2 machines, right now with no issues
that I am aware of. I have been running Windows 7 for 5 months or so
and had 9.13 on up until Nov1 or so..

Thanks Alan, it sounds good.
Did you ever experience that nasty endless loop above ?
The thing is really odd and proceed as follow:
1. checking for system requirements
2. ending with a message like "your system already met the minimum system requirements"
3. start SAS Setup
GOTO 1. :-)
Any idea ?

What cleared this problem for me was running the install file with xp compatibility as an administrator and checking the button that says it's trusted. It installed another runtime in the system check then installed perfectly.
