Re: where to post job postings
Hi Robert, This listserv is one place to post job opportunities, so long as it's not flooded with such by any one poster. Additionally, many local SAS user groups will post job opportunities local to their geographic areas on their websites. You can get a list of local user groups and their contact information from http://support.sas.com/usergroups. The Opportunity Registry on sasCommunity.org is another option for you to consider: http://www.sasCommunity.org/wiki/Category:Opportunity_Registry And as Nat suggests - identify the location. On the sasCommunity.org wiki you can use Geography tags to do that, e.g., put the article in the appropriate Geography categories. Here is a top level link to the Geography category. And, of course, if a geography category does not exist that you need, just create it: http://www.sascommunity.org/wiki/Category:Geography HTH, donh -----Original Message----- From: SAS(r) Discussion [mailto:SAS-L@LISTSERV.UGA.EDU] On Behalf Of Nat Wooding Sent: Tuesday, October 07, 2008 7:23 AM To: SAS-L@LISTSERV.UGA.EDU Subject: Re: where to post job postings In addition to Nancy's suggestion, you might also want to check out http://www.sconsig.com/ If you post on SASL, I do suggest that you show the country and city in the subject line since this is a world wide list.
