has an even distribution of English phonemes. This first stage of
testing made us ecstatic. Accuracy was 100% in Dragon 11 Professional
and Windows Speech Recognition. A customer phone call came in while
reading and we were easily able to transfer the call. When asked about
the clarity of the call, the customer reported it sounded great.
Our ecstasy was short lived. Moderate background noise was played.
This is a recording of typical office noise of phones ringing and

marks in the first step (the blue bar on the right). On the step with
the graph, the yellow noise floor which was almost undetectable with
