Hiya,

Feud can now be downloaded from :

Long ago, in a country far away from here, I played a game on my cousin's
computer. That game was lots of fun for me and so began many months of
work to recreate it on my little computer with my limited knowledge of
programming. So, I began to recreate this game.

The process took a long time, and many compromises had to be made, mainly
because I had limited knowledge of the inner workings of the machine.
Eventually I had 'finished' it, and the game was playable. My first two
player game, using both keyboard and joystick (home-made joystick
interface not included). Sound was limited to using the Watford Speech
Synthesiser (which is also not included here).

Time has moved on and a few days ago I began porting the relevant sections
to RISC OS to relive my childhood a little, and because it is christmas
and my brothers will be around again :-)

Quick summary of the game, as written by Justin Fletcher, aged 10 :

Feud is a game in which you must fight
        against your enemy Leoric.But since
he is adept in magic,as are you,it will
be no easy Job.All spells are available
to both of you,but you must discover
        what they do.Spells are :-

          Clone , Lightning , Transport ,
          Madness , Protect , Invisible , Swift
          Reverse , Heal and Teleport

To mix these you must collect the right
        herbs.These herbs are,in order of
        power :-

          Anaseed , Burdock , Dandylion ,
          Chonderilla

Justin Fletcher, aged 27, will take comments and critique of the game, but
it is primarily released for a laugh. More information available in the
!Help file, source code and by email if anyone's really desperate to know
something about the game :-)

I would like to thank Julian Fletcher, Simon Fletcher, Victoria Buckley
and Suzanne Brill (ne Buckley) for their relevant contributions to this
game. And to my parents for putting up with my continued and relentless
ramblings about the game.

Follow-ups by email, please.

Note: Please ensure that your machine is capable of MODE 1 and MODE 7
before attempting to play the game.
