Greetings,
I've run into an issue when using Merlin 8 from ProSEL. Launching
Merlin with a prefix set to a different location (in this case my
source tree) to the Merlin installation directory works fine, except
that the full screen editor is not loaded. For the moment, I'm PFX'ing
after Merlin launches but my recent 'agile' development process has me
flicking frequently in and out of Merlin and constantly redefining the
prefix is driving me somewhat BSC.
Any ideas?
Matt

One of the greatest of souls to walk the earth had a saying:
"Titles are but nicknames, and every nickname is a title. "

Switch to Merlin 16+ and use Lane Roath(e)'s Project management
utility that can set a prefix and load a source file based on
configuration.

That would work, but would unfortunately mean I have to switch to
using a IIgs, which for me is a downgrade (I sold my last accelerator)
For the moment, I'm copying ED and my PARMS file to the source
locations - messy, but it works :-)

Just to follow up: After chatting with Tony Diaz (thanks Tony!) I
installed a 65816 in my Transwarp I and switched to using Merlin 16
instead of Merlin 8.
This has almost completely solved the above issue. I can specify an
alternate prefix and STARTUP command in ProSEL which lets me launch
Merlin 16 and load my main source file in 3 keystrokes! Agile
developing once again.
