+4 Processor Needed Desperately!!!!!!!!!

  • Follow

Hello everybody! This is Charles from 8-Bit Designs and I was hoping
that someone out there in "cyberworld" could help me locate a 8501
Microprocessor chip for the Commodore +4 Computer. I have narrowed it
down to either the Processor or the TED Chip (the processor has "BURN
MARKS" on the edges of it so I "assume" that's the problem chip).

I will be using my +4 once it gets up and running again to test the
8-Bit Designs Joystick Adapters and the Cassette "EDGE" Adapters. Also
will be using it to keep records of sales, customer databases, and to
"fiddle" around with the word processor.

Any help will be GREATLY APPRECIATED and will go to the betterment and
expansion of the existing community at large.

Thanks for your support!

Well, it looks like he's got a lot of exclamation marks, quotation marks
and capital letters to spare...

I have chips for the 64, 128 and some Amiga ones as well I can trade.
Also have a few serial, RGB (128), and power cables I don't need. I can
also trade a +4 EDGE CONNECTOR (the 64 cassette recorder adapter for
the +4) for it, or maybe the joystick adapter (the adapter that allows
the 64 joysticks to be used on the +4). I also have a XETEC SUPER
GRAFIX JR. PRINTER INTERFACE that I have no need of.

I also have many other items lying around her that I have no use for.
Please let me know if any of these will suffice, or do you have other
things that you need that I might have on hand.

Thanks for the response!

Have a great weekend!

HOW MUCH and WHERE FROM? I might be willing to pay a "DECENT" price for
it.

Thanks for the offer!

Charles
