The latest version of the Hobby Cross Assembler is available at:
www.home.earthlink.net/~hxa
This version is mostly about adding strings - string labels, string
concatenation, and several string functions (including a VAL() function to
evaluate a string as a numeric expression).
HXA is now powerful enough to implement the 6502 instruction set entirely as
macros, although this is provided mostly as a proof-of-concept, since the
native HXA65 version is quite a bit faster. Similar proofs are included for
8080/85, Z80 (no native version for these) and 65C02 processors.
