CDTV64 sales count...

Has anyone heard how many units of the joystick have sold so far? I ordered
mine Saturday and hope to get it by Wednesday. Just curious if there had been
an estimated count of units sold yet. :)

According to Todd Elliott, QVC had sold 37,500 on the first day of
DTV sales.

Good Heavens... That's quite some accomplishment. I'd never thought it would
have been so successful. These good news leave space to a C-1 success as
well - given it'll be sold under the Commodore brand.

Congratulations to those who worked on it and the guys at Commodore BV.

I thought that I had read in the #c64Friends chat that the count was over 45,000.

According to dutch sources over 150.000 units have been sold until
now. 100.000 to go. They are out of stock at the end of the week.

Kim C: I am sorry may I have the item number?
LaRoot: E22494 and E25376
Kim C: The E22494 Commodore 64 30-in-1 Classic Plug & Play Video Game

Kim C: E25376 Set of 2 Commodore 64 30-in-1 Classic Plug & Play Video
Game shows 29,000.
LaRoot: The numbers you gave me are about what you still have in

Kim C: Available, sales are going very well
Kim C: How else can I help you?
Pieter van Borssum Waalkes: That was my last question, thank you very

Owner of the brand "commodore" is Tulip. A dutch company listed at the
Euronext Stock Exchange, Amsterdam.

Robert Bernardo knows very well who owns the Commodore brand. Most of us do
know this already. I think I mentioned it enough times that we all know VERY
well.

If you want to be nit-picky - Commodore International BV owns the mark and
since Tulip is the parent company - thus owns Commodore International BV -
they therefore own the Commodore brand but if they divest Commodore
International BV - then they would loose ownership of the brand because for
one it is registered in the United States under Commodore International BV.
