Commodore Capsella Robotics kit...

  • Follow

I remember reading in one of the Commodore Magazines back in the day
about a Capsella robotics kit that would interface with the Commodore 64
kind of like the Lego Mindstorm kits do with the PC/Macs today. Was
this kit ever released or is it Vaporware?

Yes it was released by a company called microbotics. I also believe some ads
in the old computer magazines (run.,compute) show access software to have
made a kit called "the robotics workshop" .

I have personally seen this kit on ebay before but not for a long time,
unfortunately. I know someone here at one time was asking about the software
to run his "robotics workshop C64 interface" awhile back but i dont think he
has gotten a reply.

Myself I have been collecting capsela kits as I find them at garage sales
and such waiting for the day i get the kit meant for the C64. Then I should
lots of goodies to try out.

Good luck finding a kit but if you do please make the software available for
all.Thanks

Leo

I was the person asking for the software to run my robotics workshop
kit. I'm very interested in this subject so please contact me
a.s.a.p. through this news group. I was able to write some of my own
programming to run the interface,
Please have a look at my webpage detailing the project:

I never really finished this project to my satisfaction. I still need
the original software that was packaged with the interface. Maybe we
can trade for something.

Thanks

CA
