Haven't been able to get on the internet since Wednesday (bad video
card). Anyway, I paired down some of my disk collection the other day
and tossed out some old floppies I had (mostly just backup copies I had
made of my own software). I chucked about 20 disks (don't worry, I have
several blanks in reserve).
How was everyone's week?

A month or two from now, we're not going to get bombarded with
questions on how to bring these disks back from the dump, are we?

He won't want the disks, just the data off of them. There will be a
"data migration theory" in that simply by being stored in the same disk
box, the data from one disk will migrate to another disk.
We should thank the Internet Gods that we had close to a week of
peaceful conversation.

pair down = put in sets of two
pear down = arrange in the shape of a fruit
pare down = trim, cut, remove excess
