### Multidrawer NTSC fix?

• Email

Multidrawer is IMO one of the best C64 paint programs. However, it is
PAL only. I would love to to see a NTSC fixed version.

Ask SilverDream ;) I can't find his homepage at the moment, but he
can be reached e.g. via the Commodore Hackers group.

I contacted the author many years back and he said he might work on it
if he had some free time.
Unfortunately, nothing ever became of it.

One time I download and tried as many C64 paint programs as I could
find. This is the one that stood out.
I like it, because it is small and fast, with minimal disk access
time.

how to fix LaTeX formatting?
Hi, I'm trying to label an axis as follows: xlabel('$\hat R^t_r$','interpreter','latex','FontSize',22) The problem I get is that the \hat is not sitting on top of the R and only the sub- and superscripts seem to be affected by changes in FontSize. Which leads to a completely unusable result. Any suggestions how I can get it to display properly? Thanks, andreas ** (Matlab 2006b on Ubuntu Linux) Oddly enough, I am also running Matlab 2006b on Ubuntu. Your command works perfectly for me.

Properly, Given what you actually want, take advantage of SAS procs. One easy way to get what you want might be: data have; input var1 var2 var3; cards; 1 . 3 2 3 . .. 4 5 6 . 8 ; proc means data=have nmiss; var _all_; run; Art --------- On Sun, 16 Mar 2008 08:20:56 -0700, Properly <irain168@GMAIL.COM> wrote: >data have; > input var1 var2 var3; > cards; >1 . 3 >2 3 . >. 4 5 >6 . 8 >; > >data missing; > > set have end=eof; > array all(*) _all_; > retain Missing_all(i); > > do i=1 to dim(all); > if missing(all(i)) then Missing_

bug in Tkinter (FIX)
It's my first time posting to the list so I hope I don't sound like an idiot! The other day I was looking for a way to keep track of whether a user had changed the contents of a Tk text widget. After a little bit of searching I found edit_modified. This should let me get/set the modified flag on a Tk text widget... But using it to check the flag raises an exception. A little more searching showed that the problem had been reported numerous times, but never fixed. So, despite the fact that I could use Tk.call to access the value directly, I decided to poke around in Tkinter.py and see if I could fix it myself. It took about five seconds to fix the problem ^_^ Search for 'edit', it is a method in the Text class. Replace: return self._getints(self.tk.call((self._w, 'edit') + args)) or () With: if 'modified' in args: return self._getboolean( self.tk.call((self._w, 'edit') + args)) or () return self._getints( self.tk.call((self._w, 'edit') + args)) or () Simple right? Anyway could somebody fix this in the official version please?

Conn4x install problem and fix
I just reinstalled Conn4x after upgrading my Wintel laptop (running XP). The install of the downloaded file goes normally, without complaint, but trying to connect via the USB port fails with "no device found". The windows Device Manager shows the HPx9+G Device not as a USB device but as a generic one with a big question mark. The failure appears to arise because the Conn4x software doesn't use a "windows-signed" driver, and the auto-setup didn't install it correctly. The fix: My Computer ... Properties ... Hardware ... Device Manager button Select the HP device and update the driver, using the "I have the driver disk" train of options. That is, don't auto-search, don't look online, just go to the driver you downloaded. If you don't have the file (it would be named HPx9G.inf), first go to the educalc site and download the driver, from http://www.educalc.net/286482.page If the HPx9+G device doesn't show up on the list of devices, try plugging in the calculator and starting the XModem server (right- shift, release right-shift, right-cursor-arrow), which may get the driver into the list although it won't be working. I

.tar.gz fix archives for pre-4.3.3?
Hi there, Are there somewhere on Earth fix archives like 4210001.tar.gz to change AIX 4.2.1 base level from 0 to 1 for example? I can find a lot of such archives on the IBM FTP site, but only for AIX 4.3.3 and superior. Thanks in advance. -- Posted via Mailgate.ORG Server - http://www.Mailgate.ORG

Is there still time to fix this in R14?
Hi, This one is for the Matworks guys. The Matlab documentation for XLabel, YLabel, ZLabel says that: "XLabel, YLabel, ZLabel Axis labels. The handle of the text object used to label the x, y, or z-axis, respectively. To assign values to any of these properties, you must obtain the handle to the text string you want to use as a label. This statement defines a text object and assigns its handle to the XLabel property: set(gca,'Xlabel',text('String','axis label')) MATLAB places the string 'axis label' appropriately for an x-axis label. Any text object
