Hello everybody! Just wanted to announce that I am in the progress of
making 3 Commodore 64/128 Power Pro's and 3 Amiga Power pros. I got all
the necessary parts and am already assembling them together as we
speak. All I have to go is acquire some of the proper cabling and we
are in business. So don't get discouraged please. The wait will not be
that much longer....:):):):)
Also, I still have 4 User Port Commanders, 5 Y-Serial Adapter cables,
and 4 Serial Bus Reset Switches ALL OF WHICH are already pretested,
prepackaged, and ready for shipment!
The Ultimate gamepads have ran into a but of a "BUMP" in the road
(temporarily), but I am hoping to get that resolved in the next few
months.
Please feel free to contact me reagrding any of these projects that
you may have need of, or are interested in.
Also progress is coming along on the Universal Video Module
(albeit,slow).
Have a great day everybody!!!!!!!!!
Charles

As a guess:
Probably a PSU that powers more than one unit.
But we`ll wait for Charles` definition.

Power Pro is an IBM STYLE (AT/ATX) Power Supply Unit that supplies
power to more than one device at a time. As a matter of fact, I think I
will change the name to Power Pro 450 since the ones I have now are 450
watters! LOLOL
Anyways, you will be able to plug in up to 6 devices to each unit
without causing an overload, and even better, you can CUSTOMIZE them
for your specific needs. For example, if you wanted to make 1 that
powered your Amiga and your 128, I could make it to where you can run
BOTH OF THEM on the one power supply! Furthermore, you can power up to
four accessories like drives, printers, or scanners with the other four
leads.
They are WONDERFUL UNITS! :):):)

Yup, if I wanted a power supply that can dump 25A into a cold short,
you're the guy I'd trust with the wiring! LOLOLOL

use such a supply with a 64 or 128 due to needing 9VAC from a solely
DC output
can some one fill me in?
or is it as simple as tapping the AC line voltage off through a
filtered 9V output transformer and just finding room for it in side
the PSU case, which I have done with an XT style PSU.

Very interesting! An Amiga 500/1200 and a C128 off the same p.s.
plus accessories (me counting the FD-2000, FD-4000, CMD HD, 56K external
modem). This p.s. is very reminiscent of the Commodore Scene power
supply.
Is the Power Pro very noisy/quiet?

PowerPro is a 250 watt ATX PSU wired up for plugging into the C64, and
several peripheral devices.
