Title says it all.
I'm looking for any monitor that will let me see if my C-128 computers
80 Column output is working.
It's the only thing I haven't been able to check yet.
I'm looking for something under $50 and local to NYC via Mass transit.

You may be able to confirm the functionality of the C128 monochrome
RGB circuitry with only a 1702, a clone, or even a VCR. You will have
to construct a cable that conncts pin 7 of the C128 RGB port to an RCA
jack. A schematic of the port can be found in the appendix of the
C128 SYSTEM GUIDE. Download the system guide from : http://project64.c64.o=
rg/
This is only a make do setup until you can find a true RGB monitor. I
have difficulty distinguishing between '8's and capitol 'B's using a
mono RGB display.
