### HP Color LaserJet and Windows 7

Has anyone gotten the HP 1600 Color LaserJet to work with Windows 7? If so,
how? Is there another model who's drivers are 1600 compatible, and would
work? Before I run out and buy a copy of Windows 7 (preferably 64 bit), I
want to know if my equipment will work. If not, I will stick with what I
have (Windows XP).

Thanks

FWIW, the HP web site has HP Color LaserJet Plug and Play Package for
both 32- and 64-bit Windows 7, released on October 20. The 1600 is a
PCL6 printer, apparently without the most universal-of-all PostScript.

files to FP7 > and can't figure out how to combine them into one file. Do I have to > re-define all my fields? Recreate all my layouts? What's the deal? > G If you convert the four related .fp5 (FM6) files to FMP 7 all at once, by dragging them all to the FMP 7 logo, it will convert them all with all their relationships intact. The solution should then work pretty much as it did in FMP 6. It is that easy, and this kind of simultaneous conversion to separate but related .fp7 files is what you should normally do first. After you have the solution working properly in FMP 7 with separate files, you can alter the solution to put multiple tables in one file, if you wish. There are some advantages to doing this. it takes a bit of work. You need to define the additional tables, with all their fields, and define the relationships. You also need to build the layouts and scripts associated with those tables. After you get the modified solution working, you can import the data from the separate tables. I have done this for several different solutions of varying complexity. it takes some time and care. You may find you can do things in FMP 7 that you could

Taken at face value, you could do something like \def\hskip#1{\HCode{<hspace width=3D"#1">}} but this would almost certainly be a bad idea - you should not do this kind of low-level operation. Why do you want to do this \hskip, is it part of the formatting of a header, a table, a list, or what? For each of th

Is there a way to generate a random number with a set mean, standard deviation, and skewness? Sarah wrote: > > > Is there a way to generate a random number with a set mean, > standard > deviation, and skewness? The short answer is no. You cant generate random numbers with a chosen skewness or kurtosis. To generate N normally distributed numbers with given mean m and standard deviation sd use: rn= m + sd*rand(1,N) The skewness of a normal distribution is 0. I created two roll-over bitmap images (in Corel Photopaint, v. 11), each of which works fine when placed within its own web page. However, when I combine the code into one web page the roll-over function stops working in each image; the hot-spots/links are fine. What am I missing here? Being new to JavaScript, I'm sure it's something simple.... thanks On Fri, 8 Oct 2004 mjh <mhodkin@comcast.net> wrote: > I created two roll-over bitmap images (in Corel Photopaint, v. 11), > each of which works fine when placed within its own web page. > However, when I combine the
