Hello,
We are trying to discover 128 luns behind a SCSI Target on a HP-UX
machine.
We are only able to see 8 of them. Do we need to enable volume set
addressing
to discover more than 8 luns? If so, can someone help me how to enable
volume set
addressing?
Thanks a lot in advance,
tarak

Hi,
You do need to use VSA schema here.
Public loop or Private? Its dependent on that. Also, what kind of SAN Infra.
do you have?
Additionally, try going to itrc.hp.com ->Support and Maintainence for HP
products->Knowledge Tree -> Software Recovery Handbook-> Fibre Channel Mass
Storage.pdf.
Read that to get an idea of how u could use VSA in your storage environment.
good luck.
