I see the discussion about 64-bit Windows, but I can't even get Conn4x
to work with 32-bit Windows 7. No matter what I try, it says that
there is no calculator connected, even though the Device Manager sees
the HP 50g just fine. Help! (If this was already discussed here,
forgive me.) FWIW, Conn4x worked fine in XP.

There is an updated version today that should install properly
regardless of your language settings. If it installed, great! If you
had trouble with the previous one. . . this one should work fine. The
drivers themselves didn't change at all though.
