#### db problem BIG PROBLEM

We are having a problem on our database, DB2 running on 0s/400 v5r1 and
SAP 4.6b.
We have a database table on Sap that isn't aligned with the table on
the db, this was caused by a breakdown during a transportation. At
this moment the table on Sap have one field more than the fields list
that we see into db2 from as400.
Someone can help us?
thanks to all

alberto

How about running an ALTER TABLE and adding the missing field to the DB2
file?

You might have to run the RCLSTG command to try to locate any file related
corruption.

thanks to all for your help. We used RCLSTG and we have fixed the db
and recreated all index on the tables with problem. now it seems ok.

hi guys i'm working on a transformer for my animation for an assignment and have linked up bits and bods but i have a huge problem now. when i rotate some objects they seem to scal them selves in strange ways. i heard thtis can be fixed by using reset rotation and reset scale but i've had little success , can anyone help? debugger problem and other problem
Hi all! I gave it another try to upgarde from 1.0.1 to 1.2.1 from CVS (Rev. 6469). My system: Linux Debian Lenny, kernel 2.6.24. Problems: 1. the classical debugger doesn't show the code. First I thought it could be a color problem, but it isn't. Changing the color doesn't help. You can find a screenshot at http://www.apw-wiegand.de/apwlin/debugger.png. As you can see the debugger finds the code file and shows the line number where it actually is, but doesn't show the code. In 1.0.1 the debugger was functioning. 2. I read several times in the newsgroup that others have the same problem with HB_EXT_INKEY like me. It is fine that some people now can use the extended keyboard features but I would prefer the old inkey coding without HB_EXT_INKEY because I have to serve an old Clipper prog and for example I don't want to change all keyboard chr(23) to keyboard K_CTRL_W especially because the same code is still used in DOS. I tried to unset #define HB_EXT_INKEY But then xharbour will not compile. Couldn't you provide a switch for those who don't want HB_EXT_INKEY used? 3. In Memoedit() I now get lines and text highlighted whenever I move the cursor with arrow keys. It doesn't change the text but the highlighting is disturbing. How can I change that behavior? Big array, a big problem?
I've a question regarding a bit of code I have. On my site I have a set of semi-static data (changes once a month or so) that needs to be displayed in various places around the site and integrated with dynamic data being fed in from a MySQL database. At the time of development I chose to put this semi-static data in to an array and include() it where required. However, the array is now getting quite big. It has 1200 entries of the form: $myArray["item1"]["Property 1"] = "Value 1";$myArray["item1"]["Property 2"] = "Value 2"; $myArray["item1"]["Property 3"] = "Value 3";$myArray["item1"]["Property 4"] = "Value 4"; $myArray["item1"]["Property 5"] = "Value 5";$myArray["item1"]["ArrayProperty"][] = "Other Value 1"; $myArray["item1"]["ArrayProperty"][] = "Other Value 2";$myArray["item1"]["ArrayProperty"][] = "Other Value 3"; $myArray["item1"]["ArrayProperty"][] = "Other Value 4"; The PHP file it is in weighs in at 550KB and is used in most of the custom data driven pages I have. IBM iSeries Client Access OLE DB problems
I am working on a project where I need to connect some Windows 2000 (SP3) servers to an IBM AS/400 database. I'm using IBM's Client Access OLE DB driver (V5R2 with SI08894 patch installed) on each server. The first serve is dual-processor, running SQL Server 2000 (SP3), and I have a DTS package that is intended to copy data from the AS/400 to some SQL Server tables. Problems: 1. When setting up the connection in the DTS package, saving the AS/400 connection password with the package is problematic. The Blank Password checkbox in the connection properties won't stay unchecked, and if I type in a password, sometimes when I close the connection properties it is saved and sometimes it is not. Of course, if it is not, then the DTS package fails when it is scheduled to run automatically. 2. When I do get a DTS package to execute, it seems that IBM's OLE driver only allows a single connection to the AS/400. I say this because only one data transformation task will run at a time. Using a previous AS/400 OLE driver, I would see at least two data transfformation tasks operating in parallel. I have installed the registry key that IBM says is needed to enable connection pooling in V5R2, but don't know of any tools that let me see what is really going on with OLE connections. Is there some magic registry entry (or file to edit) that sets the maximum number of connections? I know this is supposed to be automatic, but it appears that only one connection is being open...

Newer IBM MOUSE.SYS has problems with serial mice
While installing eCS 1.2 just yesterday (21 Feb), I found an odd problem with my serial mouse. Basically, everything worked fine except the buttons. These were ignored when using the Desktop or a subsidiary window. Opening a full screen VDOS, Win-3.1 or OS/2 window cured the bug. Mensys in *.nl agreed this was weird but said they'd heard of it before: IBM made a cods-up of the newer MOUSE.SYS and broke the support for serial mice; it seems too many people have gone over to PS/2 mice and their testing has gone lame. (IBM keep control of the source code, one learns, so only an idiot could blame this on the eCS folks.) The best fix Mensys can offer, lacking a rush of code-fixing keenness by IBM, is to see something gets done for the next installer refresh, to install the appropriate version of MOUSE.SYS. The fix in my case was to copy the MOUSE.SYS from CD:\ECS\BOOT to OS:\OS2\BOOT then reboot. All is happy now. I must say eCS, at version 1.2, is starting to leave Warp 4.52 in the dust with its general improvements. (Many are non-obvious.) And the new installer continues to be a great help. -- Andrew Stephenson Andrew Stephenson schrieb: > > While installing eCS 1.2 just yesterday (21 Feb), I found an odd > problem with my serial mouse. gif problem or filesystem problem?
Folks, I'm using SuSE 7.1, kernal 2.4.0-4Gb on a Reiserfs filesystem. I have 2,500plus images that I've saved over a number of years on my windoze laptop and *copied* many of them to my linux server. I do frequent backups on my linux server to CD and decided one day to do a disaster recovery and test my data. Here's my problem... I checked my backups and discovered that with the exception of gifs, all other files (jpegs, docs, xls, wmv, avi, txt, htm etc) were viewable. The gifs were reported as corrupt. Because the files on my linux box were a backup of original data that was on my laptop, I could examine and confirm that all the original files (including gifs) were fine/viewable. I thought the problem might be with my CD burn so I ftp received my backup from my linux box to a temp work area on my windows laptop and found again that I could view all but gifs. From the above I therefore feel safe that the gifs were either corrupted during an ftp to/from the linux box, or else that my filesystem has somehow screwed the whole thing up... I mean... basically... the original images on my windoze box are fine, and the backups on/from my linux box are screwed up... and so far, the problem relates only to gif files. So... does anyone know of any complications that one could have with having a gif file on a linux box?
