Farcry patches - does 1.2 need 1.1 loaded first?

Well, does it?

Or does 1.2 include the fixes from 1.1?

(Just acquired the game i.e. v1.0)

Sry, never mind, just read patch 1.2 has been withdrawn by UBI due to
problems.

1.1 it is then. :)

Funny, because many online servers are running 1.2. Most even. Though I've
noticed a few have reverted back to 1.1.

What were the problems? The only one I've noticed is the binoculars stopped
working properly.

I'm running 1.2 just for the single-player game, as it has the shader30
speedups for the 6800 cards. 1600x1200 veryhigh looks great!

Yeah I found the patch added and improved many things, especially
frame-rate - it did crash the first time i loaded the game, but I think
that was because i tried a saved game instead of starting a new game.
Can anyone else play saved games from 1.1?

If I do: typedef foo bar[1][1][1][1]; bar * my_bar = malloc(sizeof *bar); foo * my_foo = (foo *) my_bar; certainly 'my_bar' points to an object whose alignment satisfies type 'foo'.
