Is there any way I can change the date format from '970625' to
'19970625' in IDL?

I hesitate to give the easy answer, but what the heck. IDL can do
string math so the following works a treat.
dateString = '970625'
newDateString = '19' + dateString
But if you really need to do date math then you need to split the string

I've download and compiled wxX11-2.5.2 (since 2.5.1 and documentation
have disappeared. Any way to still get a hold of those? They're
still useful, to me at least). It appears things are rather broken,
but I can't believe that people haven't been up in arms more if they
were broken for everyone.

I have to say that the new release of Amarok is turning out to be very disappointing. The sad thing is that
what makes it disappointing isn't even a bug but the intended design. Although the collection tab appears to
show some polish when comparing to the previous release, all the other bits that made amarok great are
missing or at least mangled to the point of being useless. The playlist is a pain in the neck to manage and
mangles all information, now there is this middle panel that is not only useless but also sports an

What happens if you have 2 (or more) computers, with 2 NICs each and assign
different IP addresses/ranges to corresponding NICs? For example:

The computers would be connected by one or two routers. If two routers, one

There is no SQL statement to do this (AFAIK).
But in VBA you have Choose (which works to base 1).
