if nothing there helps, drop me a private email (you'll have to
unfudge the address yourself) and I might consider flogging mine.
(it's worth it just for the box ;o)

it was indeed a fantastic game.

There are various options you can persue. The game can be found at the
Underdogs: http://www.the-underdogs.org/game.php?id=4234 Also, be sure
to check Captain Zedo's Hardware Community Site. Here, links can be
found to the patches and fan-made mods and updates.

Regards,
Vincent

Thanks Vincent. I'm looking for a place to download or/and buy. Not to
get updates.

Cheers.

18mb, is this the demo. I was under the impression the game came on two
CD's?

I have it on my playlist at work. Autechre - Clipper is my fave track,
it's such a shame that 99% of their other stuff is drivel.

I used to love leaving a station and have that huge hardcore drumbeat
from one of the LFO tracks starting at the same time....made me want
to shoot bad guys rather than trade.

One of the last games I remember that had any sort of atmosphere.

The thing with hardwar is that unless you have the CD version, you are
missing out on one of the largest contributors to the games overall
appeal...it's soundtrack is amazing.

Additionally, with the patched demo, all you can do is fart around,
following the plot isn't possible, as the video files afe missing, and
(AFAIK) crash the game.

Ahhh, I kind of meant for you to un-munge mine, but this works just as
well ;o)

I'll email you sometime later today then (I'm at work at present), and
arrange something. I'm guessing from your email that you live in
england (possibly newcastle)?

Basscadet, Eggshell, Clipper and Vletrmx (Plaid mix) are Autechre's most
dancefloor friendly tunes--they're the ones I pull out whenever I DJ.
Whether that makes the rest drivel is... debatable.

The ISOs are available on the eDonkey/eMule network. ED2K URLs are:

I was under the impression that the file at the Underdogs was the
complete game, minus music and video's. If it's the demo.. well you
can sorta hack it to make it into the full game. I once saw a site
that listed the complete procedure. Someone at Cap' Zedo forum might
have the link. Still, I agree that getting the full game is better.
The music is pretty cool, as are the video's. The cops are actually
employees of the Software Refinery, who created the game.

Cheers
