Hmm I could almost swear there was a manual with the version I had right on
the CD.

I think that's only true for MW versions that came bundled with a video
card. My (original release) MW copy doesn't have a PDF manual on the
CDs. There was a PDF floating around, though, and I have a copy of it,
but it's 30 MB, and without broadband I don't really want to upload it.
The site I got it from no longer works, but perhaps an indepth google
search will help.
Try this one:

I assume that you *do* have a legal copy of the game.

Thanks - both this and the map disappeared in a pile of paper not long
after I got it. (Actually I have two copies of the game - the second
came as a throw-in with my then new speakers. This does not of course
include either Tribunal or Bloodmoon - I'm talking about the mustard
yellow disk set)

I would worry more about the maps. Do you have those? Esp the map for
Bloodmoon (if he gave you that).

I just checked and my new budget copy doesn't have a paper OR PDF manual
EVEN THOUGH THE BOX SAYS IT DOES. This is just like the bad old days of
Sierra.
