Yes RV770 has 160 SP up from the 64 SP in R600. I suppose that's a
more direct comparison to the 128 SP in Nvidia's G80 (2006) and the
240 SP in GT200 / GTX 280 (2008).
Still, the 160 SP in RV770 is divided into 800 'sub' SP. The fact
remains that the smaller 956M transistor RV770 GPU pushes 1 to 1.2
TFLOPs while the larger 1400M (1.4B) transistor GT200 / GTX 280 GPU
pushes 0.9 TFLOPs.
