A couple days ago the display suddenly went black and the power LED went
into blink mode on my Compaq P110 (21" CRT), which I bought refurbished a
couple years ago. I turned it off and on repeatedly, but the symptom
persisted. Now I'm using another P110 I had bought earlier (the second was a
replacement from the vendor, because the first one had a video popping
problem that suggested it could blow at any time), so I assume it's not some
spontaneous power management glitch coming from my computer.

I'm wondering if the blinking means repair will cost so much that I should
just try and sell it as is - in which case, what's a fair price? - or if
there's something a non-tech user like me could do to troubleshoot and maybe
fix the problem.

Any info/suggestions much appreciated.
