The system was working great for 6 months or so. Then we changed our Netwok Locations of these Boxes and now both of them have different IP. DB IP: 1.2.3.4 App IP: 50.51.52.53 (Note above IP are hypothetically for example) But now when I run my DB and LSNRCTL, I am surprised that it is still listeneing on my old IP: -------------------------------------------------------------------- Started with pid=483502 Listening on: (DESCRIPTION=(ADDRESS=(PROTOCOL=tcp)(HOST=100.101.102.103)(PORT=1521))) Listening on: (DESCRIPTION=(ADDRESS=(PROTOCOL=ipc)(KEY=EXTPROC))) -------------------------------------------------------------------- And so my Application fails to connect to the DB. I tried configuring my LISTENER (using netmgr/netca and even manually editing listener.ora file) I changed all my CONFIGURATION Files (server.xml, tnsnames.ora, listener.ora etc etc etc....) Did I miss any other file to tell Oracle that my NEW IP is 1.2.3.4? Can anyone help me on this solution? Any related information is appreciated. THANKS!
