IBM PS/2 SCSI-2 ADAPTER MCA W/Drive&Cable auction
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2762837686 Nov-06-03 11:50:00 PST Auction is wrongly titled on e baye. It's listed as a F/W, while it's clearly a Patriot. Includes DSAS drive and a braided cable. Possibly from either a 76 or 77 system. ...

IBM RS/6000 MCA SCSI Adapter vs. IBM PS/2 MCA SCSI Adapter
Hello, I found in my MCA repository a (seems to be) functionnal RS/6000 32bit SCSI Adapter. In my '80, I have a (what seems to be, again) original PS/2 SCSI Adapter, w/o cache. I found also a w/cache, but is faulty. May I get better performance, any improvement of any kind trying this RS/6000 Adapter, or is it not going to run at all...or will it be worse ? I have a 0661 type HDD, 320 MB in the SCSI Chain. Thanks ! Hum, as I see after some searches, it is RS/6000-only adapter, no ADF, not useable in a PS/2...Can someone confirm this ? On the metal card blockout for RS/6k adapters will be a identifying tag. Something like "4-1" ("Narrow" SCSI adapter) or "4-6" (Differencial F/W SCSI adapter). One particular (11H7660) "4-6" card does work in the PS/2. ...

Auction: IBM PS/2 XGA-2 Adapter WOW New in Box MCA Microchannel!
As it stands right now, it's got a bidder who would give it a good home...but it's new in box...when is the last time you saw that? http://search.ebay.com/200183160525 $9.99 current bid. 11 hours, ~30 minutes left. Located in Auburn, WA USA. Ships worldwide. PayPal, MO, CC, personal check... For the record, the "new XGA" refers to a display resolution. There are SXGA, WXGA and maybe even a WUXGA (!!!). Bonus--don't forget to ask for your picture of the goats and chickens. They're amazing as per the seller. It will **not** work in a PS/2 Model 50...at least not with the stock 286 CPU installed. (Never did try a 50 with the 386SX upgrade...) You can put the card in, but the machine won't even power up. Auction: VINTAGE NEW IBM PS/2 MCA Microchannel Dual VGA OUT Card #2
Here's another one. Artist Graphics Winsprint 1000i. http://search.ebay.com/220090432947 Wish it did high color, but it's got some serious horsepower in the resolution department. I've never run it past 1280x1024, but it looks to be capable of 256 colors at 1600x1200 resolution with a 75Hz vertical refresh rate. It's also quite fast. It is *not* a dual head adapter, however. The second connector takes a display passthrough from your base video card. A straight through male/male VGA cable (or doing without being able to see base video output) works fine. Louis saved the drivers (at least for NT4) from oblivion. He got the others (Win 3.1x, OS/2, Win95) but I never have tried them. Buy it now $19.99 + $7.50 shipping in the US. Ships worldwide. Ends Mar-15-2007 16:53:00 PDT. No affiliation. William <wm_walsh@hotmail.com> wrote in message news:1173811276.300597.252150@30g2000cwc.googlegroups.com... > Here's another one. I am curious about this. I have been using SCSI since 1989, and I have never know a SCSI standard to reach 100ft. ISTR 2-3 meters was max length of SCSI-I, SCSI-II varied 7 to 12 meeters, and later SCSI lengths were shorter due to the higher speeds of data transmission. Can anyone comment on this? I tend to believe the auction is really for a loooooong parallel printer cable. exwisdem I googled 34L7054, but most of the hits were from that auction or seller. Less than 20 hits. Auction: VINTAGE NEW IBM PS/2 MCA Microchannel Dual VGA OUT Card
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=220073131093 BIN $19.99 Ends Jan-25-07. $7.50 shipping. Ships worldwide. Artist Winsprint 1000i video card. It's not a dual header...the second monitor plug connects to your base video. It's limited to 256 colors, but it can *really* stand up and deliver on resolution and refresh rates. I was able to easily push an HP Pavilion 17" monitor past its limits under Windows NT 4.0 with this card. Running big monitors with this would not be a problem--it will do 1600x1200 no problem with at least a 75Hz vertical refresh rate. It's a fast card, too bad it doesn't do more in the color depth department. No affiliation. Have bought from this seller a few times before and always been happy with what I got.
