Good to hear from you Louis.

Working on cracking the password for the source code that will help
add support for that IBM 100TX network card you sent me.

Don't know if you saw it in the groups or not but we (David Ress and
I) figured out the NT DDK for windows sound and got the DFE5 Ultimedia
card working in NT 4.0. Nice to hear the MP3s coming out of a 9595.

Glad to see some quality input on the boards rather then all tese OT
posts.

Have you set yourself up as the PS/2
Posting Police Department?

No.
Just echoing an observation that a lot of other people have voiced already.

I'm a newbie here, but it seems to me whether a topic is "off topic" or
not in this group is of little relevance at this stage of the PS/2 life
cycle.

What matters, and what is MOST important, is that this group attracts
and keeps the people around out there that do know a heck of a lot about
PS/2s, and when someone such as myself comes along with a question, they
are around to answer it. If they want to have some OT conversations
about things just to stay in touch, and to keep them coming back then
that's okay with me.

I actually enjoy reading along and learning from the OT posts as much as
any of the others. :)

That's just my two cents. :)

Hmm, now we're really getting off topic. I thought this thread was to
discuss the option of purchasing a Model P70 on eBay that Louis had spotted
;)

Well, I may bid...I'm nearest of thise in the discussion so far...

I was actually using a P70 not 5 minutes ago. Makes a nice compact debug
terminal when stepping through the OS/2 kernel...
