Help: pcmcia 2.0 USB adapters any good?
I have an A21M 800mhz I use as a workhorse but I need faster and
more USB. I found a pcmcia
http://www.google.com/products/catalog?hl=en&q=pcmcia+usb+2.0+adapter&um=1&ie=UTF-8&cid=9078554578986600418&ei=q9bYS_S-A5Oa8QTz4ZGdBw&sa=X&oi=product_catalog_result&ct=result&resnum=3&ved=0CBIQ8wIwAg#ps-sellers
will I get higher speed with it? I do not know how to figure the speed
capability of a pcmcia plus........

I've used them with success. However they don't seem to supply much power so
bus-powered HDDs are pretty much a no no with ones I've used. Flash drives
however work just fine, as do powered external HDDs. The transfer speed
seems comparable with a native USB 2 port.

It didn't seem to help you.
I really don't get it, I see it happen many, many times, in various
newsgroups. People replying to spammers (who aren't going to read it) and
QUOTING THE URL!
You're no better than they are if you post their spammed URL to a newsgroup.
In fact you're worse as they're likely making money out of it. Why do you do
it? To make money for THEM?
Sheesh!
Ok, back to normal. It's a pet peeve of mine, people who I think are
intelligent doing moronic things like that.
