T43 and hard drive error 2010 ! - comp.sys.laptops.thinkpad

Can somebody help me ... Just bought Seagate st910021a PATA 7200rpm ! When starting windows error 2010 keeps buging me ! I tried with lenovo HDD update utility to update but it says update not needed and thats strange cause my hard drive firmware is 3.02 and a new one on lenovo firmware utility is 3.07. Does anyone know is there another disk utility or something else so i can get rid of this stupid message ERROR 2010 :( Thanx for support and sorry for my poor eng :) J3rry

I menaged to make it work ! I downgraded my bios to v1.18 and IBM ThinkPad Embedded Controller to v1.22... only that combination of it worked ! Tried all versions of bios and this is only 1 combination that skipped 2010 error! My model is thinkpad T43 2668-CTO ... Hope this helps someone else... J3rry
