Apple to recall millions of 27" iMacs.

Whoooopsie.

Dear Apple, there is a reason some companies have a department called
Quality Control. Look into it.

Apparently millions of 27" iMacs are overheating causing massive
problems with the video cards. This makes the screen flicker and
randomly shutoff and back on.

Can't be having that during the work day. No wonder Macs aren't
allowed near a business.

Ouch!

"Apple's 27-inch iMac isn't getting a lot of love, judging from some
recent online postings by users. Complaints about flickering or
cracked screens and processor problems are drowning out the praise
Apple has come to expect for its hardware. "The 27-inch iMac has a
problem with the AMD ATI graphics card," said Broadpoint AmTech
analyst Brian Marshall. "They should have stuck to Nvidia."

How does such an obvious and widespread problem make it through QC?

They know MacFreaks will buy anything with a half eaten Apple logo. The
half eaten apple should be the tip off.
