Congress to begin probe.

It wasn't good enough for the morons in here, but the evidence seems to
be adequate enough for Congress to begin a probe.

Of course you forget that in the past the anti-global climate change
shills emails and other trails were exposed as fraudalent.

I think it *is* a good idea to look into this. Find where, if anywhere,
misinformation has been pushed as truth. Once that is done, focus on what
will be even better established science.

Of course, you do realize that they didn't merit a probe whereas in this
case, there was enough material to merit a probe.

Hope this helps.

The really bad part is that the science has been corrupted by
politicians by controlling who gets grants and who don't.
People will no longer trust a scientist as to whether he is telling the
truth or not.
It looks like Inhofe has been proven right.

I remember a bunch of global warming extremists running around
declaring them fraudulent. I can't seem to recall any proof beyond
'Because we say so!'. Given what we now know to be a rock solid fact
about that ilk's honesty I'd say those claims are to be taken with a
grain of salt...a very, very large grain of salt.

Go back and read the Exxon emails where they admitted global climate
change is real and that they had to concentrate on disputing it and they
would do it by funding scientific quacks. No opinions just facts.

Just because they were admitting it doesn't mean that it was the truth
or real, not by any stretch of the imagination.

Even this won't change a liberals mind. The only way to fix a big

Your subject line should be "Climate change denialist Republicans to
begin political grandstanding".

(As if they ever stopped.)

Cite? Link to alleged email? And assuming they're real were they
relying on the work of the global warming extremists that we now know
were deliberately making the whole thing up as 'proof' that it was
real?
And given what we now know to be fact about the integrity of the
global warming extremist 'science' team how can you call anyone else a
'quack'?

Science whored out its soul in exchange for public funding a looong
time ago. I've been saying for a quite a while that anyone who
believed something just because 'science' says it was an idiot.
'Science' is just another special interest group these days that will
put out a report that says anything the funder wants it to say.

Oh, I was also very aware of this when I worked for the feds.
Plus, I knew the two fellows at Rhodes and Bloxsoms research, and both
of these were ridiculed for their theories on a better wind tunnel that
didn't need air to prove new air foil models. Both of them quit the
aerospace firm that they worked for and started their own business and
developed a better method that was able to test these models up to Mach
50. They got rich in the process. Both said to stay away from getting
any grants from the feds as all the feds were doing is cherry picking
for results that politically favors their own agenda and position. The
feds always reduce or dangle out a wheelbarrow full of cash to
politically corrupt scientists. So I went into the field of reverse
engineering for the feds instead.

Correct. It is needed to preserve the integrity of scientists. There
needs to be a way of protecting scientists from politicians and their

It seems that democrats are innocent in this, eh?
Guffaw!!! You are a believer in the left-wing/right-wing paradigm.
There is no difference between the parties, in case you didn't figure it
out.
It is business as usual.

No, stupid, scientists are human, just like everyone else. The
difference is that if a scientist publishes fraudulent data, it will
most likely be caught by some other scientist, trying to replicate his
work. So, there really isn't any future in lying about your data. And,
sadly, there are numerous examples of scientists who were caught
making up their data. And, they were caught, by other scientists.

Well, that's how it's supposed to work anyway, and science would be actually
quite useless if worked any other way - in fact, it wouldn't be science at
all since peer review is part and parcel of the scientific method.
