??How Hub

I am using a new E-mac with Panther.

I have an ADS Technology hub connected to it.

A Wacom tablet is connected to the hub. Often the indicator light on
the tablet is out indicating that it is not receiving signals. When
the light is out the tablet does not respond to the pen.

I can get the tablet to work by unplugging the USB connection and
plugging it back in.

The indicator lights are always on, on the hub. Connected to the hub I
have a microphone, printer and the Wacom tablet. The mike and the
printer are almost always off so I don't think they are causing a
problem.

I was wondering if there was something I could do on the computer to
make the connection wake-up. It would be faster than the unplug-replug
routine I have to go through.

Would really appreciate your thoughts on this,

You might want to disconnect them just to test this.

You might also want to try plugging the wacom into a different port on
the hub. You also might want to check to see if the problem occurs
when the wacom is directly connected to the computer.

There is a brief allusion to this in macfixit's OS 10.3.6 report with
the only suggested fix below:

I assume that you have unplugged all USB devices, then reatarted and
reconnected?
