Hello,
I have some complaints at the school I work at of mail showing up in
the users Apple mail app on their laptop. We use Google Apps for
email (spam free!!!) and I can log into the user's account via the net
and see the attachment and open/download it but it doesn't show up
using the Apple "postage stamp" app.
Has anyone out there experienced this problem before and have any
answers?
Thanks,
Jim Rohrbach

My wife came across this problem a few weeks ago. Not all attachments
are affected, and the same email on either of my Macs showed up properly.
IIRC, html email attachments were more often affected.
At least some of the time, View -> Message -> Best alternative would
display the attachment (that or Next alternative).
I figured that there was something screwy with some obscure
configuration setting, so I made up a new user looking at her same
email, and everything showed up properly.
Still don't know what the mystery setting was, but an hour or so setting
up her new account, and the problem hasn't resurfaced.
