Extra servers in Mail

  • Follow

I have a little problem. When I set up my outgoing mail server in
Mail, I screwed up a few times--so now I have about 10 servers for
outgoing mail and I can't figure out how to delete the extra's.

Any advice?

Thanks,
Ryan

I never found a way to do it in the GUI, but I found the text file it
was in and just deleted them. Sorry, I can't remember the details, and
my Powerbook is still in its carrying case. :)

There's actually a much more elegant way. In the true internet style,
I searched for the answer for weeks--and then found the answer right
after I asked.

Go to Library:Scripts:Mail Scripts and then execute and run "Manage
STMP servers"

It goes in and sees which server's aern't being used by any accounts,
then it asks which of those you want to delete.
