Dear members:

After downloading Google Earth for OS X and trying it out I decided to print
a map but couldn't do it.

Every time I try to print a map Google Earth freezes or crashes. Is there a
way to print maps from Google that works well or is there some kind of patch
to fix this problem ? To the best of knowledge I am running the latest
version and it was downloaded from Google's site only a week or so ago.

Any help will be appreciated.

I just tried printing from Google Earth for the first time and had no
problems, so it's not something inherent to the program.  Which Mac OS
version are you running?  How much RAM is installed?  Printing to which
printer?

Hi, Mike.

It happens when I try to print to a PDF file. Under the print dialog window
I choose save as PDF option and at this point the program just crashes. I am
using the higher resolution option of the two options offered by Google
Earth when you first hit the print button on the bottom of the program's
window.

Don't know what to do. Any ideas ?

Oh.  Well, I just tried _that_ here and had the same problem as you do,
so it looks like this _IS_ a problem inherent to the program.

Having same problem here, Google Earth 3.1.0617.0 beta running under OS X 
10.4.6.

I guess that's part of the reason it's still a beta version.

Print-to-PDF Problem is still there for me on Google Earth 4.0.1653!
